Naran is a popular holiday destination in Kaghan Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. At a height of 2,500 meters, Naran has a variety of fascinating landscapes from icy peaks, green meadows, glacial and mountain lakes and enchanting valleys. Lake Saif-ul-Malook, the defining lake of Pakistan, is located in this town.
Shogran is a picturesque hill station in Kaghan Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at an altitude of 7,749 feet. 6 km from the hill station is Siri Paye, a verdant meadow spread over a plateau. Paye Lake lies in the center of meadow in the vicinity of famous Kashmiri mountains such as the Makra Peak, Malika Parbat, and Musa ka Musala. Access to the region is restricted in winters due to the dangerous terrain and heavy snowfall.
